General information
Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medical drug (NSAID). It is used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation. It has been used as a medical product since the early 1970s marketed under multiple brand names. Ibuprofen is mostly used to treat fever, painful menstruation, osteoarthritis, dental pain, headaches and pain from kidney stones.
