General information

Epoxomicin is a naturally occurring protein in our cells. It is a selective proteasome inhibitor with anti-inflammatory activity. It is used in experimental studies and is not yet available as a human pharmaceutical. In relation to cystic fibrosis, our AIM tool found the data that epoxomicin can help rescue F508del-CFTR function by preventing its degradation.
