9-aminoacridine
Small molecule CFTR corrector
General information
9-aminoacridine is an experimental substance used in studies and not yet available as a human pharmaceutical. It is a small-molecule drug with antiseptic and mutagenic properties. In relation to cystic fibrosis, our AIM tool found the data that 9-aminoacridine induces the expression of many genes, which leads to the correction of the F508del defect.
