General information
HspA4 is a protein naturally present in our cells. In the cell, it acts as a chaperone, which helps proteins to fold properly. It is not available as a human pharmaceutical. In relation to cystic fibrosis, our AIM tool found the data that HspA4 can help rescue F508del-CFTR by enhancing its maturation and expression on the cell surface.
