ALX-009 is a substance used in experimental studies and not yet available as a human pharmaceutical. It is a combination of hypothiocyanite and lactoferrin with antimicrobial properties. In relation to cystic fibrosis, our AIM tool found the data that ALX-009 helps against Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.
